Law firm is hiring. The shift for this position is Wednesday through Sunday 8am-4pm.

The Legal Word Processor formats, edits, and finalizes complex legal documents and court filings according to strict firm and court standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Document Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and clean up corrupted or improperly formatted legacy documents, tables of authorities, and tables of contents.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to manage high-volume document production under tight deadlines.

Key Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in legal studies, secretarial science, or a related field is a plus.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a word processor or document specialist in a legal or corporate financial setting.

• Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word (including styles, captions, and numbering), Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and document comparison tools (like Workshare or Litera).

• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to remain calm and accurate under pressure.
