Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Markit EDM (Opus EDM) solutions and workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support data sourcing, transformation, integration, and mastering requirements.
• Analyze existing data workflows and identify opportunities to improve platform performance, stability, and maintainability .
• Work closely with senior developers and technical stakeholders on platform enhancements and data management initiatives.
• Review existing code and ETL workflows and participate in code reviews and quality improvement activities .
• Troubleshoot and resolve data, ETL, and application issues across development and production environments.
• Provide production support and participate in ongoing operational activities as required.
• Contribute to data mastering, data integration, and enterprise data management projects.
• Perform data validation and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data processed through the platform.
• Follow established development standards, documentation practices, and deployment processes.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver solutions within a fast-paced development environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Markit EDM (Opus EDM) .
• Advanced SQL Server development skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, data manipulation, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows within Markit EDM .
• Strong understanding of data integration, data transformation, and data management concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting ETL and data-related issues in development and production environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ramp up quickly on existing platforms and processes .
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informatica or similar ETL technologies.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) platforms such as GoldenSource or Eagle .
• Experience working with financial services data or enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data mastering concepts.
• Experience participating in code reviews and software development quality initiatives.
